Aligned Work in Minnesota

The Minnesota Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) in Jails Workgroup final report recommends establishing statewide standards and resources so people with opioid use disorder incarcerated in jails can start or continue MOUD and be connected to care after release.

In 2023, Minnesota’s Interagency Council on Homelessness committed to Crossroads to Justice: Minnesota’s New Pathways to Housing, Racial and Health Justice for People Facing Homelessness.

The task force was established in 2023 and will end December 1, 2024.

It recommends protocols for when physicians, advanced practice registered nurses, and physician assistants should administer a toxicology test and requirements for reporting for prenatal exposure to a controlled substance.
